Dear quattro family and friends,

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve rapidly and in light of the further developments over the past 24 hours from our government, we would like to emphasise that first and foremost, we are committed to protecting our patients, visitors, and staff.

Over the coming days, you will notice some extra precautions we are taking to help flatten the curve and to help protect you and our staff with every possible measures we can provide. Therefore, we are making specific adjustments to ensure that your visit with us remains low risk.

These are some of the things you would expect at our practice:

• You will be receiving a call from our front desk to confirm your appointment and there will be phone screening questions you will be asked as advised by the Australian Dental Association, in relation to COVID-19. This will ensure only healthy, asymptomatic people will be attending our premises.

• If you have recently arrived from overseas or interstate in the past 14 days, you or someone close to you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or you are feeling unwell, you will be offered to defer your appointment to at least TWO WEEKS later

• We recommend arriving just before your appointment and leaving promptly afterwards (to minimise the time you are spending in common areas).

• We ask that, where possible, only one caregiver brings your child to the centre and if possible that siblings who do not have appointments do not attend. This minimises the number of people in our practice at any given time.

• We have removed all toys and magazines from the waiting rooms to minimise the items that will be touched and will require disinfection.

• As part of minimising the risks from droplet transmission inside the surgery, you will be provided with a pre-treatment rinse before commencement of any treatment.

• At the conclusion of your visit, we will be providing you with hand sanitiser before you report back to the front desk. This minimises droplet transmission onto the front desk including bench, pens, clipboards and other items that may be exposed.

• Common areas including door handles and waiting room will be sanitised after every appointment to minimise the risk of any transmission.

Rest assured we are working hard to make sure that our practice remains a low risk space that you and your family can be confident is being maintained to very high standards for your peace of mind. After all, nobody wants to bring home any nasty infections to their family.

Please visit the Department of Health website if you want to know more. Stay safe everyone!
